Tumi begun his foray into the entertainment industry through the reality show Project Fame, being the third person to leave the house.

This Soweto-born R&B singer was spotted and signed to his SA, UK and Ghana based label.
After recording in Ghana for three years, he released No Guarantee, the album which got him four SAMA nominations. To Tumi this accolade is a sign that"I'm on the right track. These nominations are a huge step and they'll make me work harder so I can better the good result I'm seeing now!"
