This born-and-bred jozi crooner first made waves at the age of 17 when he won an award on the Rap Activity Jam on YFM. In 2004 he won a place on SA’s Project Fame Academy reality TV show although he didn’t make it to the top spot.

He spent three years recording his debut album but it’s clear the hard work has paid off and it was certainly worth waiting for. Songs such as Can I Make You Love Me and Gotta Be This Way are getting tons of airplay and have received rave reviews.

The R&B star wrote 13 of the 15 songs on the album despite the fact he has had no formal musical training. There are some beautiful romantic melodies and the title track is a fab dance number with a great beat and catchy lyrics.
